Changing mindsets

The innovative concept "Good Citizen" (GC) was launched recently at the Mount Lavinia Hotel's "Tropical Hut" on December 20, amidst a large gathering of distinguished invitees.

The highlight of the ceremony was a fashion show which showcased t-shirts with various slogans, used to communicate the concept. The t-shirts displayed at the launch managed to grab the attention of everyone present at the ceremony. The art work and designs of the t-shirts were handled by Grant McCann Erickson.

The ceremony also included many fusion dance acts, which were an interesting mix between Tamil, Sinhalese and Modern dancing, followed by a fireworks display that added an exciting touch to finish off the ceremony in grand style. The ceremony was followed by an after party which also proved to be a success. Sun Beam Enterprise hopes to change the mindsets of the Sri Lankan youth by creating awareness about various issues in this country. By leading from the front and setting an example, they hope to make a difference that will pave the way for others to follow.
