Maximising opportunities in global markets

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is organizing a seminar aimed at offering practical information and tips to importers and exporters on how to protect their company's interests and maximise opportunities in the global marketplace.

The Import/ Export Seminar 2007 will take place on February 15 at the Kings Court, Trans Asia Hotel.

Among the topics to be discussed are Import Procedures, Export Procedures, Export facilitation, Bonding & Warehousing Procedures, Harnessing the potential of FTAs, Goods Classification & Valuation and Sri Lanka Cargo Clearance System (SLACCS) – Electronic submission of import & export documentation. The resource persons would be from Sri Lanka Customs, Economic Intelligence Unit of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and eServices Lanka Ltd.
