New Year Sing - a -long

A great way to relax and to enjoy the arrival of 2007 as a New Year is on the cards. The New Year 'Sing-a-Long' has been put together by the Royal Commonwealth Society so as to allow everyone who comes to participate in an unforgettable evening.

This New Year Sing - a- long will be held on Saturday, 27 January beginning on time at 7.30 PM at the Banquet Hall of the BMICH. Everyone, whose eyes have fallen on this news, will no doubt make immediate plans to be there for just more than one good reason.

Sohan and the X-periments are putting all they have into making the 'Sing-a-Long' the happiest night of the year. There will be wonderful surprises added to the prizes that will be on offer.

Now, you might think that you would have to pay much for the entrance ticket but, no, this will be a New Year bonus. Your entrance will cost only Rs 350/- per head. The reason for this was enunciated by Project Chairman, Vijaya Corea, who said : ‘We want to make it easy for families to participate and for friends and their guests to form tables and enjoy the Sing-a-Long. We want them to have the best at less than what they would normally have to pay’

The ticket cum songbook could be purchased from Torana, Liberty Plaza or The Autodrome, 304 Union Place, Colombo 2 on a first come, first served basis.
