Joe in Retrospect

A festival of films 'Joe in Retrospect' of internationally acclaimed Joe Abeywoickrema playing in the stellar cast will be telecast on Sirasa TV on Sundays at 12.00 pm and from Monday to Thursday at 10.30 pm throughout the month of January.

Directed by Milton Jayawardane ‘Sudu Akka’ will be screened at 12.00 pm on Sunday January 14. It stars Mahendra Perera, Sanjaya Leelaratne, Sanoja Bibile, Nirosha Herath, Veena Jayakodi, Chandra Kaluarachchi, Priya Ranasinghe and Nawanandane Wijesinghe.

Herbert M. Senawirathne's 'Senehasa' will be screened at 10.30 pm on January 15 and casts Herbert M. Senawirathne, Jeewarani Kurukulasuriya, Wally Nanayakkara, Janaki Kurukulasuriya, Sumith Bibile and Edna Sugathapala.

‘Segawena Sewanalle’ will be telecast at 10. 30 pm on January 16 with the cast including Robin Fernando, Wijitha Mallika, Boniface Fernando, Piyadasa Gunasekera, Piyadasa Wijekoon, B. S. Perera and Lilian Edirisinghe. The film is directed by Robin Tampoe.

On January l7, M. P. Gemunu's 'Yali Ipade' will be screened with the cast of Senadeera Rupasinghe, Sriyani Amarasene, Mark Samaranayake, Pearl Cooray, Eddie Jayamane, B. S. Perera, Farina Lye and Rex Kodippilli. Daya Wimalaweera's 'Dew Duwa' will be screened on January 18 and it stars Vijaya Kumaratunge, Malini Fonseka, Anoja Weerasinghe Aruna Shanthi, Granville Rodrigo, Chandrika Siriwardena, Sonia Dissanayake, Sriyani Nugera and Kumari Manel.
