OPA ignores human resources - Letter

I have been a member of the Institute of Personnel Management for over 20 years.

Despite the ever increasing importance of Human Resources Management, I was surprised to read a news item that appeared in almost all the local dailies in respect of the proessions coming under the purview of the Organization of Professional Association.
While 27 professions were listed covering the whole gamut of professions and disciplines strangely “Human Resources Management” has been excluded .

It will be appreciated if the President of the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka clarify the reason for this strange exclusion by the OPA. I am very concerned as to the reason for the exclusion of Human Resources Management.
