Hi !!
Wijeya Pariganaka

He climbed the heights! ADVERTISTMENTS
An old friend called in, albeit belatedly, armed with a bagful of memories and a whole lot of choice delights, to send a chapel full of delirious devotees into heavenly terrain! And like any favourite uncle, he had the goods to meet the demand . . . far beyond expectations! Yes, Cliff Richard finally managed to bring his fabulous travelling show to our shores which, at the end of all it left his audience awestruck.
Special art
Thashmi, Odel’s latest designer extraordinaire, can barely contain her excitement. She is amazed and overwhelmed, not just by the bustling store, but by all the people who’ve come to see her at the launch of her new product range. Hit and run horror
Elsworth Vantwest (33) lies in his bed at the Asiri Surgical Hospital, a pale shadow of his former vibrant and fun-loving self. He is fed liquids directly into his stomach through a peg tube and wears a broad collar to keep his neck up."Mama loves you so much," whispers his mother Jenny Vantwest, pressing a crucifix into his hands on one of her daily visits. "God is going to make you perfect again," she adds.....
Aging eyes
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a disease that affects an individual's central vision. AMD is the most common cause of severe vision loss among people over 60. Because only the centre of vision is affected, people rarely go blind from this disease. However, AMD can make it difficult to read, drive, or perform other daily activities that require fine, central vision.
Masks and the man
There is an eerie sensation of being watched by several eyes as you step into the room. The grisly masks of the demons of ancient Sri Lankan legends leer down from the walls. With their dark colours, bulging eyes, hanging tongues, fangs and cobra heads, these masks are both fearsome and wonderful in their intricacy of detail.
