‘Hank Snow’ on ‘Musical Gems’

Hank Snow will be featured on Musical Gems Programme on Commercial Services at 1.30 to 230 pm on Sunday, 11 March. This one hour show will be presented by popular TV and radio personality, Bevil Palihawadana along with Jayaratne Perera, the President of the local Hank Snow Fan Club.

Canadian born Hank Snow, came into the limelight with the song 'Singing Ranger' who later moved on to USA and made his world famous home, named, 'Rainbow Ranch' in that Music City - USA, Nashville, Tennessee.

For over 60 years he has recorded hit after hit, and has been one of the most consistently popular international artiste. When he recorded 'I'm Moving On'. It stayed on top of Billboard Country Chats for 29 weeks, the highest for any Country artiste, and then indeed he was moving on to one of the most colourful and spectacular careers in Country Music, whose name is well known in Tokyo as well as in Tennessee.
