Thurstan Rugby 7s to mark Golden Jubilee

Thurstan College will celebrate 50 years of the manly sport (rugby) amid pomp and pageantry to mark the occasion. A 7-a-side rugby tournament will be held on March 24 and 25, at the Royal Collage Sports Complex with 24 leading schools scrumming down sandwiched by 4 women’s teams.

The Thurstan Collage Golden Jubilee Committee headed by Chamila Dharmadasa, Vijith Gomage, Sujeewa Perera, Ajith Fernando and Mahesh Thamira are leaving no stone unturned to stage a right royal schools 7s tournament at the Royal Complex.
