Chevron CEO urges students to think out of the box

Chevron Lubricants Lanka Ltd recently partnered with St. Paul’s Milagiriya to offer guidance in preparing students to face the challenges of the future and also grow as individuals to their fullest potential creating true individual value.

The programme introduced to the senior students of the school was to ensure the next generation school graduates develop qualities within them to be proficient leaders of the future. This inaugural programme conducted by CEO / Managing Director of Chevron Lubricants Lanka Kishu Gomes incorporated areas pertaining to ‘women’s leadership role in the new Sri Lankan economy’, ‘managing life for commercial success’ and ‘developing a vision and strategy for life’.

“Leadership is not just for top people,” noted Gomes in comments that were released to the media by Chevron. “Everyone can learn to lead by discovering the power that lies within each one of us to make a difference.”
