President to go to UN

President Mahinda Rajapaksa is now likely to attend the UN General Assembly sessions in New York in September. Earlier Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake was expected to substitute for the President at the sessions, but now the President himself is to attend the sessions, Government sources said.
