Air Force pounds Sea Tiger base

The Air Force yesterday morning pounded a Sea Tiger base located at Thevipuram, north-west of Puthukkudiyirippu in the Mullaitivu district.

Military Spokesperson Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said the operation was a success. However exact details of casualties or damage inflicted were not revealed.

Meanwhile in Jaffna two youth were killed.One of them was a technical college student identified as Balasubramaniam Sathdhan who had allegedly been abducted from opposite the college by a group in a white van. His body with gunshot wounds was found in Urumpirai. The other youth was not identified.
