Tower Hall shows

A number of stage plays and musical events are scheduled to be held during the month of October at Tower Hall Theatre Foundation, Elphinstone Theatre and the Tower Hall, Maradana.

Among the stage plays at Tower Hall theatre are Vijaya Nandasiri's 'Vurshabha Rajha' (Bovine King) at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm on October 14, Susil Gunaratne's 'Denuwara Dennek' on October 20. Other stage productions are Chandra Keerthi Kularatne's 'Uthurana Kiri Kalasa Wilasin' on October 22 and 'Panchali' produced by Ananda Senaratne. Tennyson Cooray's 'Man da Man' will go on board on October 27 and 'Ravana Dehena' organised by Hela Kantha Saviya' on October 10. In addition an evening with two classical musical shows will be organised on October 28 by the National Institute of Business Management.

In the other leading theatre in the country, Elphinstone Parakarma Niriella's award winning play 'Charandas' will be staged on October 12. Two shows of Vijaya Nandasiri's ‘Vurshabha Rajha’ (Bovine King) will be staged at Elphinstone theatre on October 21 while late Simon Navagaththegama's acclaimed play ‘Suba saha Yasa’ will go on the boards on October 28. A musical show 'Ho… Ho.. Thushara’ organised by Senaka Amarasinghe will be held on October 19 at 6.00 pm.
