SLI wins National Best Quality Software awards

Sri Lanka Insurance bagged three software awards including a Gold at the recent National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA 2007) conducted by the Sri Lanka Section of the British Computer Society.

It was the only insurance company to win the coveted ‘Gold award’ for its supremacy in best quality software. With “b-General”, the general insurance software product developed in-house, they marked this milestone achievement for both the company and the Sri Lankan insurance industry, the company said in a statement.

The other awards won by SLI were a Bronze Medal for its product “e-Marine” which is a total solution for the Marine Insurance sector and a Merit award for PEGI-online, another new product introduced by the company to facilitate efficient settlement of claims to customers of personal insurance with premium recoveries from salaries.
