Shedding light on Heart of Darkness

The recently released Routledge Guide to Literature on Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness has been written by Prof. D.C.R.A. Goonetilleke, Emeritus Professor of English at the University of Kelaniya. The volume is essential reading for all those beginning a detailed study of Heart of Darkness and seeking not only a guide to the novel but a way through the wealth of contextual and critical material that surrounds Conrad's text.
