Not done, not done
Was it not possible for SriLankan Airlines to offer an option to passengers already booked, to make way for President Mahinda Rajapaksa and as many as possible? Many airlines do this, offering incentives to take a later flight.
Is this the same Peter Hill who was the CEO of SriLankan who readily allowed Sri Lankan aircraft to await the arrival of former President Chandrika Kumaratunga? There were many instances of flight delays in Colombo and London owing to this.
What was Mr. Hill's response to that?
Mr. Rajapaksa maybe many things but he also deserves due accord as the Head of State and Head of Government.
