Peradeniya University start with a bang

Peradeniya University started their Division 3 campaign with a comfortable five wicket win over Zelanikans SC at the Campus grounds. Shot out for 83, the visiting team hit back to grab five wickets. But their low total made a win out of the question.

Beat Black Eagles too

The Peradeniya Undergrads made it two out of two, when they beat Black Eagles S.C by 64 runs in a relatively high-scoring match at Peradeniya. Former Kingswood and University skipper Chamara Seneviratne struck a bold 72 to give the opponents a Herculean task.

For the Peradeniya University J. Gallage produced an all round performance.
