Questions are raised by Katugastota residents on the construction of the Katugastota Bridge, which is supposed to be completed prior to the SAARC Summit in July. They say the incomplete bridge would be an eyesore to the delegates attending the Summit if it is not completed soon. An English programme was organised under the guidance of Central Province councillor and chairperson of the Shramashakthi organization Shanthini Kongahage to teach English to the Shramashakthi Women's Samithiya children at Sirimalwatte, Kandy recently. Mrs Kongahage also distributed books to the children. |
