Lankan dancers to perform
in Oslo
Kalasuri Arunthathy SriRanganathan, director of the Aru Sri Art Theatre has been invited to present a dance act for the opening of the new opera house in Oslo, Norway on April 27 to illustrate the multi-ethnic society of that country.
Two veteran Sri Lankan dancers, Bharatha natyam dancer Saravanapava Guhendran and Diana Grey, from the Kulasiri Budawatte Dance Academy will perform at the show along with Sinhala and Tamil dancers living in Norway. As Norway is celebrating the 100th year of veteran composer Edvard Greig, the dance performance will be choreographed by Arunthathy SriRenganathan to his music which will be performed by the Norwegian Symphony Orchestra.
