Tap……tap….tap…. my phone

The latest in the hallowed halls of Maitland Place is the tapping of the phones. Now the management wants to know who speaks to whom and who speaks to the press. One hazy night two unknown persons had entered the premises and had fixed the gadgets to tap every phone in the premises.

Down will come baby
We hear that the oval ball secretary who played out from tickets when a school went on a private tour has been removed with immediate effect.

Vanished
The master-in-charge of the most popular sport in one of the most popular schools in Colombo has been relieved off his duties, when the parents found that some of the equipment that they had gifted to the school had done the vanishing trick.

The big pug
The chairman went there and requested that the ten per cent that is given to the managers of the respective players to be handed over to the board instead. However he got a big pug when the organisers of the tournament flatly rejected it.

Big joke
How come the athletic authorities appointed some one to probe about the defamed female athlete? Hey! Didn’t you know who her coach was? Please do not make us laugh.

Flaw in the law
Did the airman use a flaw in the law to beat the ban after he was banned for four matches for beating up a referee? Authorities must be more responsible when it comes to matters of this magnitude.
