Chevron’s global firm says CSR report focuses on partnerships
Working with its many partners, in 2007 the Chevron Corporation reduced greenhouse gas emissions, established renewable energy research alliances, improved workforce safety performance and invested in health and education programmes to contribute to the welfare and social and economic progress in the communities where the company operates.
Chevron's 2007 Corporate Responsibility Report, titled ‘Energy Partnership’ contains details about these and other accomplishments. The report reflects on how the Chevron Corporation has integrated corporate responsibility into core business practices and shares perspectives on the challenges and opportunities the company faces in a complex global environment, according to a statement issued by the company.
"The combined efforts of our 59,000 employees around the world help economies grow and create a sustainable future," says Chairman – Chevron Corporation, Dave O'Reilly in the company's sixth report. "Our values guide our work every day. These values are grounded in benefiting communities, protecting the environment, supporting human rights and working in an ethical manner." |
