As the tradition goes once again the ultimate ‘plum’ in inter-school cricket the Bata-The Sunday Times merit award winners come to light next week.

Traditionally most of those who walked the dais later padded up to cross the boundary-line to perform their national duties. We hope, this year too there would be no exception and one or more of these brave soldiers will tread the world arena proving what they are capable of. Next weeks’ recognition will come for the following categories:

ALL-ISLAND: Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Fielder, Best Allrounder and Schoolboy Cricketer of the year.

OUTSTATION: Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Fielder, Best Allrounder and Schoolboy Cricketer of the year.

Best Team North Western Province.
Best Up and Coming team.
Best Captain – All Island.
