A ceremony is to be held to felicitate well known musician and vocalist Kalabhooshana Lionel Gunatilake for his 60 years dedicated and committed services to Sri Lankan music.

Gunatilake is specially famous for his service to the Nurti and gramaphone and concert "Gee Ranga Mihira" will be held to coincide with the felicitation.

At this concert Kalabhooshana Gunatilake will sing few songs of yester year and a compact disc CD comprising 26 songs of that era will be released in order to mark the occasion
The event also marks the release of a VCD. Comprising 20 songs of Proctor John de Silva's Ramayanaya, Siri Sangabo, Vessantara, Dutugamunu, Sri Wickrania and it is produced by Mahihda Makalanda, great grandson of Proctor John de Silva and it is sponsored by Torana video movies.

This Concert will be held on the August 23, 2008, commencing 3.00 p.m. under the distinguished patronage of Victor Rathnayake, Sangith Nipun Sanath Nandasiri and Visharad Edward Jayakody and Mr and Mrs. Ravindra Fernando, Sangitha Shiromani and Basil Perera.
