Elephant dung entrepreneur at Biz Club
 

When The Sunday Times Business Club meets on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, at the monthly meetings, members will play host to a unique entrepreneur whose paper made out of Elephant dung has also made it to the White House in the US.

Thusitha Ranasinghe, Managing Director of Maximus (http://www.ecomaximus.com), will speak on a range of issues from the uniqueness of his product, the challenges and on using environmentally-friendly raw material, among other issues. Mr. Ranasinghe’s project is near the Pinnawela orphanage. Maximus also won the WorldChallenge 2006 contest conducted jointly by the BBC, Newsweek and Shell in 2006. The Cinnamon Grand is the host hotel of the club.
