UN-bound President at London Vihara

President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the London Buddhist Vihara at Chiswick managed by the Anagarika Dharmapala Trust last morning (Saturday) en-route to the UN General Assembly sessions in New York. He was accompanied by Lalith Weeratunge, President's Secretary and Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to the UK, Nihal Jayasinghe.

The Chief Sangha Nayake of Great Britain and Head of the Vihara Ven. Bogoda Seelamila Maha Thera and resident monks chanted pirith to invoke blessings of the Triple Gem on the President.
