The Colombo business college (CBC) provides unique opportunities to Sri Lankan hoping to study in the United Kingdom. CBC is the main consultant for Newcastle College which is the number one government College in the UK.

Colombo business college assists student from the very primitive stages of planning their educational careers all the way up to graduation from the university. The College first provides guidance to students on the appropriate streams they should choose according to their likes, dislikes, talents and grades.
Once a student has chosen the appropriate line the College assists persons in applying to the College as well as accommodation and Pre College visits. The travel arrangements for the students are also organised.

The College also offers a unique Visa application process. Where they organise the appeal in the case of a visa refusal and then go onto to provide a refund if the process fails. The College has employed local and international lawyers to consult them on theses matters.

CBC also attempts to ensure that persons with families are not hindered from taking up the many opportunities presented by a UK qualification. Since most persons hoping to pursue a masters aboard generally tend to shy away from the opportunity due to family commitments the college attempts to send them along with their families to the UK. Families are sent over with their families who are listed as dependents. This allows persons to go overseas with no inhibitions and pursue their dreams while still being close to their families.

The chief educational consultant at the counselling service Mr.Kaleel expresses his great dismay at the many children who finish A/levels and then take up various courses with no aim or purpose. He says that children and their parents need to plan their educational pathways with a clear focus. The centre is able to help families make these important and life changing choices.

The CBC encourages students to take up unique career paths which interest them; Such as aerospace engineering and physical education. In the past seven years the College has sent over many students for these programmes and still continues to counsel and visit them in their colleges or other post graduate programmes they have taken up.

Stephen Ineland the director of the sports academy from Newcastle college will be in the country to conduct seminars this month on the 23rd in Colombo and on the 26th at the queens hotel in Kandy. Students are encouraged to come for walk in interview with him from the 21st to the 31st of this month. They can also contact the Colombo business college through their website www.cbceducation.com.
