The internationally acclaimed Baritone singer - Rohan de Lanerolle will be the star of the Festive Concert to be held on December 4, 2008 at 7.30pm at the Lionel Wendt.
"That Baritone voice" which has enthralled audiences from New York to London to Sydney, will yet again entertain us for the season.
What better way to start the season other than with this versatile singer with many different styles, singing in many languages that has attained huge international success in both pop and classical music.
The concert will include an excellent program with Broadway hits followed by Seasonal favorites. The selection for Broadway hits will be "Some enchanted evening," "Love changes everything," "Keys to the Vaults of Heaven," "On the street where you live," "You'll never walk alone with Christmas" hits such as "Blue Christmas," "O Holy Night" and other favorite carols.
His most recent success was in USA when he performed at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York City with the internationally acclaimed Rohan De Silva. He has also sung in the UK, Australia and Singapore.

The concert will have added color with a Special appearance by Sri Lanka's Premier All Female Choir Soul Sounds and guest appearance by Ishan De Lanreolle.
For the first time in concert with Rohan will be the charming and endearing 50 children choir "Little Sopranos" by Sonali De Soysa who provides them with quality music instruction while attaining the highest level of artistic excellence. The children's choir is composed of kids from the ages of 4-12 years. This will add a true family atmosphere to this festive concert and the audience is welcome to participate with the popular carols.
Collaborating at the piano will be Concert Pianist and Music Director of Soul Sounds Soundari David Rodrigo joined by Neranjan De Silva (Keyboards) and Christo Prins (Drums)
