Gateway College (Colombo) has entered the International Schools Under 17 Cricket final by beating Lyceum International School (Nugegoda) in the quarter-finals and Lyceum International School (Wattala) in the semi-finals.
In the quarter-finals played at Shalika Grounds, which was dominated by good bowling from both sides Gateway won the match by 8 runs. The semi-final played at Health Grounds which was restricted due to rain, Gateway won by 2 runs where the ‘parabola system’ came into operation.
The final match of the tournament organised by Wycherly International School will be held on the 27th of November where Gateway College (Colombo) will meet Royal Institute.
