National carrier, SriLankan Airlines will soon see a change of uniform for its 750-cabin crew, its CEO, Manoj Gunewardene said.
"An employee appearance change is needed. We want the cabin crew to have a change of look. There will be a uniform change within the next two months,” he told The Sunday Times FT.
He also said the airline is concentrating on productivity-based pay, adding that the airline hasn’t replaced any cabin crew because of this move during this year. "We have five to six percent attrition (staff turnover) rate in a year," he added.
