Asanka’s interest towards love changes when he meets Poornima, a young teacher from a rural village in upcountry when he is on a visit with his friend Manoj. Poornima is the eldest daughter in a family of an Ayurvedic doctor and her mother is dead.

Poornima’s main aim is to look after the motherless family and give a good education to her younger sister Ridma.
