The Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2009 will explore various strategies available to address the various challenges faced by Sri Lanka and to make effective use of the new opportunities that would accelerate the economic and social development of the country.
Eminent personalities from overseas with experience at senior positions will join hands with senior government officials, public representatives and private sector leaders of Sri Lanka to discuss the global economic environment and the emerging prospects for the country.
The Summit, under the theme ‘Dawning of a New Era … Opportunities & Challenges’ will take place from June 30th to the July 2nd at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. The Summit includes technical sessions and keynote addresses on several topics.
