The 122nd Birth Commemoration of Munidasa Cumaratunga will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 3.30 p.m. at the National Museum auditorium, Colombo 07. This event is organized by the Cumaratunga Munidasa Foundation
Two books by Munidasa Cumaratunga will also be launched at this event - Mage Pasala - a children's book with illustrations by renowned artist Sybil Wettasinghe and Shikshaka Wurthiya -- a timely re-print.
Urban and Sacred Area Development Minister Dinesh Gunawardene will be the Chief Guest while the guest speakers will be Dr. (Mrs.) Tilokasundari Kariyawasam and Prof. Sarath Wijesuriya.
This event will be chaired by Prof. Chandrasiri Palliyaguru, Vice-President of the Cumaratunga Munidasa Foundation. |
