Lakshan Ferdinando, (24) is a promising young photographer with lots of plans for the future. Currently, he keeps himself busy with commercial shoots, covering weddings and special events. He has also launched his website, www.ferdifoto.lk.
His photography reflects his ability to use natural light to enhance figures and scenery.
Influenced by his father to take photography as a profession, Lakshan is a third generation photographer.
An old boy of St Benedict's College, Kotahena, he was the official photographer for College functions during his school years.
According to young Lakshan, Sri Lanka is a great place for any photographer with its diverse scenery and wildlife.
