Bharti Airtel rated 'Strongest Brand' by Brand Finance

Bharti Airtel has been rated as 'Strongest Brand' by London based independent brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance through its Brand Power Rating (BPR). Bharti Airtel is also the only corporate brand across all sectors to be awarded the AAA rating (extremelystrong) from its previous rating of AA+. In a company press release, Bharti Airtel's CEO and Joint Managing Director Manoj Kohli said the ratings bear testimony to the company's journey and evolution as a power brand.

"This achievement is yet another milestone in our journey to emerge as the most admired brand by 2010," he added. The press release further stated that the BPR reflects a brand's strength in the marketplace compared to its competitors and how effectively a company converts this into business results.
