Ananda College continued their dominance in chess at the Under 12 Division One Boys Category to win the All Island Championship as well after bagging the Western Province Championship two months ago. The event was organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Chess Association.

Mahinda College Galle was first runners-up in the competition and Dharmasoka Ambalangoda were the second runners-up.
