Agra, the popular North Indian restaurant located at Independence Avenue, Colombo 07, will kick-off their seasonal celebrations with their special Christmas promotion, 'Seasonal Celebrations'. The promotion which commences on the 25th of December will continue until the 31st of December, right until the dawn of the New Year.

During the promotional period, apart from their popular signature dishes such as the kebabs, biriyanis, naans and the tandooris, Agra will offer a wide variety of choices to suit everyone's taste buds, blending the seasonal delights with North Indian cuisine. This sumptuous spread will include a wide range of dishes varying from turkey biriyani, turkey tikkas and turkey kebabs etc. In addition to this Agra will be offering their specialties such as mutton biriyani, chicken tikka masala, tandoori prawns and their special cheesy kebabs for their vegetarian foodies. The restaurant has also not forgotten the sweet toothed, where a range of Indian styled desserts such as rasamalais, gulab jamun and kulfi etc. plus a delightful beverage list will be on the menu.

Also this is the time of the year when families and friends come together to celebrate and Agra hopes to be part and parcel of these festive celebrations. Agra has proven itself to be the finest North Indian restaurant in town and being located in such an ideal location has become an added advantage.

Emphasizing their need to offer customers complete relaxation, Agra will soon be opening their 'Lounge Bar', complete with full air-conditioning and luxurious sofas, palanquin seating and a full view of the adjoining lush green lawn thus providing an elegant lounge-bar ambience featuring traditional North Indian architectural styles.

"This will be definitely be one of the best lounge bars in Colombo and be one of the most happening locations to hang-out in town. The Lounge Bar will be offering finger-food and beverages and will be operating from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm and in the evenings from 6.30 pm to 11.00 pm where the operating hours will be extended with due course", further stated Mr. Somasunderam.
