Shashini Peiris, a Grade Four student of
St. Nicholas International School, Negombo was a Gold medal winner and All-Island
winner for Drama (Duo) and a Gold medal winner and All- Island finalist for Prose Speaking (OC) and Public Speaking (OC) at the Sri Lanka Festival for Music, Dance and Speech 2009.
She was also a prize winner for Speech and Drama – Grade 1 at the examinations conducted by the International Institute of Music, Speech and Drama held in 2009.
