Elephants, caterpillars and pink and green dinosaurs leap off the pages while each illustration is accompanied by a story crafted by the children themselves.

Seven year old Avinash's story for instance is about a plane which transports passengers to America while 11 year old Hirushi's is about an animal she made up, coming to the modern world to save the world from ending.

"It looks like a giraffe but it has a long tail, and he saves the world with a little boy named Jerry from China," she smiles. Shalini, (11) also a student at the school, has an imaginative story accompanied by a multi-hued illustration published in the book.

The stories are wonderfully diverse and are an excellent display of the unlimited creativity that each child is capable of. The book which is authored by children for children is now available for sale. For more information about the book or to make a purchase, please contact Rhuani on 0777 – 711231.
