Globalization and Internet revolution has shrunk the world into a global village. Boundaries of the nations are only politically important now. For the trade, commerce and industry, the world has become one marketplace. In such times, we need to have global compatibility to survive and grow. We need to have exposure to the various cultures and business practices of various countries.

When asked about one of their newest partnerships and the innovative option of education being offered by their US partner university to a Sri Lankan IT graduate the Chairman and MD of Universal Student Consultants Mr.Sanjeev Ganeshan stated that "we believe in forming strategic partnerships with recognised Universities, Colleges and vocational institutions across the globe which would churn out graduates who will posses global marketable academic and personal traits and be employable locally and globally".

He went on to state that with this objective in mind and to further enhance the knowledge and competency of the local and foreign IT Graduates who already possess a Bachelor's Degree in their respective areas to be able to pursue a specialized Master's Degree in the USA, Universal Student Consultants have partnered with the University of Advancing Technology in the USA. As one is aware USA is the "Land of opportunity" and the birthplace of all leading IT companies such as Microsoft, IBM, APPLE just to name a few - and the country with more than 32% of the world's top fortune 500 companies in the world.

University of Advancing Technology (UAT) is a university that is serious about technology. As the 21st century unfolds, we see more and more how technology in all its manifestations profoundly alters how we work, live, play and interact with each other. As technologists, we see that there will always be newer and newer tools created to address mankind's emergent needs and desires. It was mentioned that UAT's mission is to educate students in the fields of advancing technology to become innovators of the future.

The Chairman and MD of Universal Student Consultants mentioned that they are currently in the process of encouraging their global partners to visit Sri Lanka in order to give the opportunity for the local students, professionals and parents in our motherland Sri Lanka to be able to meet and discuss with these global educational specialists and make informed decisions regarding their higher studies and career path both locally and globally.
