Cavaliers to stage veterans T20

In its latest initiative, the Lanka Cavaliers, the Veterans Cricket Club which sports several former cricket greats in its ranks, will stage an Over 40 invitational T20 knockout tournament from June 5-6 at the Colts and BRC grounds respectively.

This unique T20 tournament will feature Colts, Olcott XI, Quadrangular Eleven, MCA veterans, Moratuwa XI, Kandy XI, Kurunegala XI and Umpires XI.

Formed 13 years ago by local legends such as Bandula Warnapura, Jayantha Seneviratne Damian Fernando, Mervyn Fernando and Gerry Woutersz who have represented the club.
