Lakshan Fernando of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo won the best performance in the throwing events and was adjudged the senior champion at the Sri Lanka Schools Senior championships for Sir John Tarbat Cup -2010. Lakshan was awarded a special trophy for the achievement of 62.37m in the javelin throw event in the under 20 category.
He emerged the runner-up in the putt shot and discuss throw events in the same age group. Lakshan was also awarded Sri Lanka School Colours for all three events for his excellent performance. |
