ASIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL'S Form 4 and Form 5 students have just completed a tour of Greece and the Greek Isles in July this year.
Each year the students of these Forms are taken on a tour of some country of historical interest. So far the AIS pupils in different years have visited France, China, India, Rome, Thailand and Malaysia.
The Principal, Mrs. Goolbai Gunasekera, thinks that tours like this are not only educational but they foster understanding among people of different cultures. Sri Lanka is a small island but her people have always had a far more cosmopolitan attitude than most other Asian nations. Sri Lankan students mix well when they study abroad, thanks to such forms of exposure when they are still in school, say satisfied parents.
