PARIS (Frenchtribune.com) - On Tuesday, a state-run Iranian paper that tagged Carla Bruni, who is the first lady of France, as prostitute, confirmed to have meant exactly the same meaning that it actually means.
On Wednesday, British newspapers sent in a report stating that the French publisher, Flammarion was ready to publish a confession on Bruni's life, which ranges from her secret lovers to the number of plastic surgeons that she may have visited to enhance her beauty.

The Telegraph was informed by Bruni's attorneys that they were willing to see the book make it to the market this month, which is rumored to contain all the thorough details about on-and-offs of her life.
However, the French seem to be hardened to the scandals and if the book really marks a wave of ripple, is yet to be seen.
Flammarion is sure that the damning details of the woman, who claimed that being married to just one man was boring to her when she appeared for an interview, which was prior to tying the knot with divorced President of France, will be 'something' to look for. Comparing the news with the politics in America, this book will surely spark off a number of discussions.
An AFP report on Monday said Bruni was branded a “prostitute” and “immoral” by Iranian news outlets after she expressed support for an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning.
Iran's foreign ministry, however, criticised the media on Tuesday for branding French first lady Carla Bruni as “prostitute”
On Saturday, Kayhan ran a story headlined “French prostitutes enter the human rights uproar,” in which it criticised Bruni and French actress Isabelle Adjani for supporting Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani, the 43-year-old Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning. “Bruni, the singer and depraved actress who managed to break the Sarkozy family and marry the French president and who is said to have an affair with a singer, has said in S.M's (Sakineh Mohammadi) defence that the verdict is unfair”, Kayhan wrote. |
