Christmas is a particularly exciting time for children, and Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo has a season of activities lined up to keep their youngest guests enthralled. The Yuletide Story Hour will take place at the lobby of the hotel and will feature Angela Seneviratne and Sulochana Dissanayake, on alternate days. Each in their own style will entertain children with stories and activities.
Angela will narrate exciting tales that promise to keep the children enraptured. Her lively personality and wit never fail to amuse both children and adults alike. A series of activities will follow calling on the kids’ creativity, where they will produce crafts with her guidance. Sulochana uses a different medium to communicate with the children that too has proved effective.
A skilled puppeteer, she uses the delightful characters to relate stories gathered from her travels to South Africa, Indonesia and the USA. She brings to the stage characters from various walks of life, each with valuable lessons to demonstrate. A story telling workshop will follow, where children will be encouraged to share their opinions and arrive at their own conclusions.
All this excitement will take place by the lobby of Cinnamon Lakeside from Sunday, 19 December to the 24th from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at no charge to guests.
