One sunny afternoon,
We visited the zoo.
There were birds, mammals, reptiles,
And aquatic animals too.

There were naughty, funny monkeys,
And many colourful birds,
I loved the beautiful fish,
And the sealion’s clever tricks.

We watched the elephants’ show,
Before we left the zoo,
I enjoyed every minute,
Spent at the Dehiwela zoo.
