“On rupee devaluation and the UNP” story
To call me a 'neoclassical fundamentalist' this week in response to my request, the authors refer to the concept of real exchange rate in response to the previous week's attack on the opposition for calling for a realistic exchange rate shows the arrogance of the writers Luxman Siriwardena and Chanuka Wattegama but that is of no consequence to me.
However, to insinuate the concept of real exchange rate as a useless and outdated elementary text book theory indicates the level of understanding of the subject by the expert policy analysts on international trade of the think tank of the Senior International Affairs Adviser to the President. That scares me!
