Kingslake software to increase productivity of tea exporters

Kingslake together with Infor SyteLine presented their proven integrated software solution for the tea Industry to a disinguished gathering of exporters last week.

“The integrated software solution based on Infor SyteLine focusses on delivering operational results from the time an inquiry is received to be capable to deliver on time while maintaining just in time inventory of tea from the auction and other packing material, blending of tea, optimising factory resources and staff and finally preparing financial reporting and analysis ensuring productivity and profitability,” a statement from Kingslake said.

The system provides a state of the art tea system which handles data from auctions to blending of tea, lot allocating and other functionalities vital to the tea exporter seamlessly integrated with the Syteline ERP.

"The integrated ERP solution presented, gives tea exporters a window of opportunity to reorganise their business to meet their future challenges. There is a greater need to migrate to better use of available proven solutions and technology to remain competitive. It is also vitally important to be in control of one's business as you expand," said Director UK Beverages, Mohan Mendis.

Kingslake has been providing Enterprise Resource Planning solutions based on SyteLine for the past 15 years and SyteLine has already proven itself in the tea industry by handling a large proportion of Sri Lanka's branded tea. Some of the benefits already reaped by existing users are reduced inventory holding costs, on time delivery, traceability and increased factory throughput, the statement said.
