Born without arms, Jessica Cox, is a renowned international motivational keynote speaker and is billed to address over 1,000 students on the topic "Turning Impossible in to Accomplishment".
The programme is organized by CIMA, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by Achievers Lanka Business School with the media sponsors been the Education Times. Jessica will speak on 23rd June at the BMICH from 10 am to 12 noon. Jessica made sure she never became a victim of her condition and now flies airplanes, drives cars, and otherwise lives a normal life using her feet as others use their hands.
She went on to become the first woman pilot in aviation history to fly with her feet. In addition, she holds the title of the first person without arms in the American Tae Kwon-Do Association to get a black belt. She will provide critical insight on how best to approach a challenge, redefining the concept of possibility, help people reconnect with their own inner strength and aptitude by sharing in her speeches humorous stories of struggles and success of living in a "two-handed" world.
