Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Aliens

By Ravindu Udawatta, Asian Int. School

When a light shines on our doorstep,
When a light shines in our eyes,
When a light shines on our window,
Casting shadows in the gloom.

When a mysterious object hovers,
Above your own house,
When the object starts pulling you,
Out of your own bed.

What would you say if the object,
Was round and shaped like a saucer,
What would you say if the saucer,
Came from a million galaxies away.

Now what would you say if I stopped,
This poem and you all thought I fibbed,
Then I will continue no more,
About aliens, a million galaxies away.
