Beautiful
butterflies,
We love to see you,
With large
colourful wings,
Flying and
dancing
In the Gentle breeze,
Visiting each flower
Gently sucking nectar,
Hurting or not.
The delicate petals,
Secretly you pass,
From blossom to blossom
On cold rainy days,
You visit us not.
The garden is empty
The flowers too
Sadly droop
Their heads,
Awaiting your arrival,
We love to admire
You lovely butterflies
But cannot reach you
For you are scared
Of us human beings.
Guava tree
By Nandarkumar Visal
(Grade 4),
Highlevel Int. School, Hatton
We have a big guava tree in front of our house. This produces a lot of tasty and big fruits during its
productive season. We also enjoy eating this guava, sharing with our neighbours and friends. We even take these guavas to our relatives when we visit them.
A lot of varieties of animals and birds including parrots visit this tree to have their food, making us enjoy bird watching too.
While thanking the person who planted this tree, I am very happy and proud of this tree which
dedicates its presence to help these birds and animals to live. Sometimes we too eat guavas and quench our thirst and hunger.
