‘CF Connection’, a popular air show on SLBC is celebrating its 15th Anniversary on 30 October. ‘CF Connection’, sponsored by Central Finance took off the air on 30 october1996 with ‘Radio Sri Lanka’ with Sunil Simom, the produce, compiler and the broadcaster and the host Viran Corea.
What makes ‘CF Connection’ so different is mainly due to the programme content. Each month it features a different theme, where the listener could always expect something new and innovative. Each programme is compiled with diversity to the listeners needs. C‘CF Connection’, in Sinhala goes on the air every Staurday from 1105-1205 over the airwaves of the ‘Sinhala Welanda Sewaya’. Prizes and surprises thrown each week with tunes from a forgotten era to the present hosted by veteren broadcaster Wajira Jayawardana and Senani Wickramasingha.
‘CF Connection’, in Tamil celebrated its second year on the air with a difference and goes on air every Saturday from 0900-1000 on ‘Thendral’ hosted by Nagaposhini and Jeganmohan. |
